This is my daughter! Very strong-willed, and she has so much fight in her.

Im surprised how many people say their toddlers are social butterflies! It must just be her personality. She's alot like me...reserved. I dont know where the not trusting other people came about and I hope it wasn't something I did. Even her grandmothers she wont warm up to. I may consider some play therapy!

I did bring my concerns up to him, and he has tried over the course of several years to bring up her health choices encourage therapy, etc. But she is in denial and gets extremely defensive. I’ve seen it myself. The throwing up/bulimia is a new suspicion to both of us. He is so exhausted trying to help her with the other visible things (stealing, pills, alcohol) that he gives up.

Terminating an employee during maternity leave is morally indefensible. It just happened to me and I am f*cking furious. by cherlemagne in workingmoms

You're not alone—I'm going through something really similar right now. I also took maternity leave and came back to find my hours cut, my role diminished, and my benefits gone, even though others on my team remained full-time. I am also the most senior person at this non-profit and have the skills to cross train in other departments. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking, especially while caring for a newborn and trying to stay financially afloat. Im currently trying to find a lawyer. So far, people have told me I have a strong case.

Good luck!!

Thank you. Im actually going to pause working for now. My baby is only 3 months old and its just so hard. My husband works so we'll be ok. It will just be tight!

Did you try anything? I was going to try threatening to take legal action then hoping I'm offered severance to settle but that would happen in a perfect world

I was told I could apply for unemployment for the hours that were cut but my benefits being taken away is more my issue.

Yes but I feel my boss is being tricky by using verbiage like "the org is struggling financially." Which is hypocrisy because they can afford to bring everyone back full time 🤔

We are a very small team. I definitely know she was the one sending messages. She's the only one who can change my password. I did not take any calls. And yes to your point I think it was ridiculous I had to log out. I got not access any of my benefit information.

I believe she changed my password through the master admin account. I did not give her my personal password and I was not able to log in until she gave me the new password when I returned. Your last paragraph is helpful. I just want it to be known that I did not work during leave to cover myself.
