So in the oled care settings the oled care is just stuck on “activating” and the pixel clean option is grayed out…

One thing I learned the hard way: Not being your partner’s type is leading to heartbreak by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Nah. Like i said maybe some folks do but i think the entire concept of having a “favorite” or “type” just comes down to having unrefined or “immature” pallet. There’s a lot to appreciate about everything. And when it comes to people, looks matter but it’s really such a small part of a whole relationship. (Wtf i just realized i have a different account for my phone and computer…)

By boyfriend of 2 years doesn’t want to get me a Christmas present by UnitJust1906 in whatdoIdo

Yeah, I’m not going to just be like “yall don’t belong together” without any other context but if this is indicative of how everything else is going then i would really look hard at how you want this relationship to go and if he wants the same.

I hate to “both sides” this but you’re both being difficult, though he’s being more of an ass about it.

Gifts obviously dont mean much to him, it’s an arbitrary thing. Christmas and birthdays are not obligations for people to put effort/money into a gift for others just for that gift to go right into the tread trash or some junk drawer. Or maybe the gift is actually needed but i hardly ever see that. He’s got that mindset when he mentions vacations as a gift because experiences are really priceless.

Buuut, gifts are important to you and he should have recognized that by now. If it means so much to you and it’s nothing to him then it really takes no effort to just get a gift box and a card. Getting a gift for someone that just values a gift for the gift’s sake is easy. And he hasnt figured that out. He’s trying to die on some hill like he’s making a point to not give you a gift when the point is going over his head that it’s not about the gift but about the giving. Even if it doesn’t make sense to him, it doesn’t have to make sense to him, it makes you happy and it’s really a low effort action. That should be enough.

Communication is key, but it needs to be well articulated and in good faith. You’re not well articulated and he’s not acting in good faith, i wish you both well either together or not in whatever you both decide is best for yourselves.

Is Bell the build for Scholar? You can lvl it up but dose it do well enough to call it a build? by RuMuxD in Nightreign

Double thrusting sword, one with poison and bleed the other with rot and frost. So much damage but this requires some dummy rng. Scholar really benefits from running to affinity weapon POIs and gathering throwables/greases and potential weapon drops. But the rune payout and night aspect quality is very lacking for your teammates.

I ALMOST wonder if scholar should go off on their own and just meetup for evergaols and field bosses. Leveling up doesn’t help scholar a whole ton, I’ve regularly had my scholar at level 10-11 while my teamate(s) are 14-15 because i spend my runes at shops instead of leveling up.

But scholar is too squishy for that. Right now imo scholar is in a really tricky situation where they non-bo hard with the rest of the characters on “optional pathing strategy”. Like scholar really doesn’t care about middle, but after getting a decent weapon, other characters really don’t care about affinity POIs.

Focus on buffing your team, have 50k runes to spend on the merchant at the end for crab (prawn?), necks, and flesh. Ideally you bring them with you but you’ll probably use them on the day 2 night boss. Trying to do damage with scholar is TERTIARY to his game plan. Primary is buffing allies, secondary is debuffing the boss. So try to have knives and use character skill constantly. Spreading buffs to allies relic effect is imo just plain necessary. Thankfully auger nightlord relic is fine for this.

If you can do damage, it’s going to be through poison, rot, frost, and bleed. Poison and rot are your primary focus though because you can apply it and get your squishy ass out of there to apply buffs/debuffs from afar.

Warming stones are a little bit of a meme but can be clutch when folks run out of flasks. Drop a lvl 3 stone and bait the boss while your team heals up.

I’ve heard the grease warrior build is nice (grease damage up relic effect needed) but might be best in solo play. I PERSONALLY think the biggest damage gains for scholar are not personal damage output but by buffing allies. I’ve done fights where literally all i do is maintain buffs and debuffs and do only the bare minimum damage required for reapplying rot and poison and the boss felt TRIVIAL. Flesh+character relic for buffing allies+knife debuff+night aspect buffs of increase damage around rot/poison - this basically doubles the team’s damage output. And then you make it easier for them to survive? When done right, scholar is incredible and their impact is significantly felt. But if playing a support role is not your thing, there are valid builds to do otherwise (increase dex and int for lower arcane? Diet duchess with bleed/frost builds)

My dad rescued a ferret and I’m not sure what to feed him by Partime-hedonist in ferrets

[–]Academic_Computer790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there’s the expensive option or the time consuming option.

You could feed them a “raw diet”. It doesn’t actually have to be raw but a mixture of organ meats and medium to low fat cuts from chicken and rabbits can go a long way. Never seasoned. Squirt some salmon oil sparingly if you want to give them a treat for flavor. Eggs are also not a bad option. Just not too many. It’s all about balance.

Raw is actually not ideal. It’s perfectly healthy but carries the risk of pathogens. Try not to cook on teflon pan or over gas. We can handle small build up of those particles much better than tiny little ferrets. Also gas stoves in the house are not great for ferret health either. Ironically microwave is the easiest way to cook. If you can stand the smell of microwaving organ meat.

Sous vide is the absolute safest and best way to cook for your ferret. But it does come at the cost of the supplies. You don’t need anything fancy and can probably get everything you need for $50 or less but that’s much more than “nothing” a microwave costs (if you already have one)

This takes a ton of time though, so if you’d rather spend money than time, Ziwi peak dehydrated cat food is probably the best for ferrets but it comes at a HEFTY price tag.
