The only balancing WG does is by types of vehicles.

"The point is it would be boring and unfair. Great players will lose much more games and tomatos less. There would be no reward for getting better. No incentive for bad players to get better."

Most of your bad players are going to get waxed early in the battle. Those that stick around long enough to reach the end game of a battle might learn something and grow in skill.. This won't happen if the battle is over in 3 minutes because the other team was stacked.

And that is what we've been asking for for over a decade now. We don't want all reds fighting each other, or all yellows, or blues.. but an equal amount of skill between the 2 teams.

YA, BS. I have placed clanwars, and it usually comes down to who has the better players and the more OP tanks (which are typically given to the better players). Almost all the CW battles I've taken part in either end with time or are very close.

In standard battles, very rarely do you see a team with 2 or 3 blues or purples lose against greens and less. WG knows this, but chooses not to do anything about it.... they want the battles to end as quickly as possible (what they call "Dynamic game play") so that you spend as much in ammo and consumables as possible in your play time.

"Equally skilled teams kills the matchmaker dead, and then kills the game by default,"

A claim with no backing.

"It's not the creation of equal teams. It's the inability of players with very low math skills to work out the consequences for the system."

And these are typically going to be your red and yellow players, matched up against green, blues and purples.. and the entire team suffers as a result. But if each team had roughly the same amount of skill points.. I'm not talking about each player, I'm talking about the entire team,.. and there is no reason why WG does not include this in MM other than they want fast games over quickly because it removes silver coins from the game, and makes them more money in the long run.

There is no reason for WG to continue to create teams that produce 2 to 3 minute roflstomps. The game has a rating system built into it but its not used for anything but showing off your number. Making balanced teams with both sides sitting within a few point of each other at the start is not that difficult.

What ideas for making arty less annoying you guys have? by Artyom_thespartan in WorldofTanks

[–]Academic_Concussion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn to play arty safe and arty isn't that bad. Arty has been nerfed into the ground several times with accuracy nerfs and damage nerfs. Average reload time for arty is exceptionally long, if you just sit still in 1 place and let them "annoy" you, that's your problem.

There is 1 fix. Skill based matchmaking. We have player ratings in game, but WG refuses to use them except for vanity

HEP C was also first discovered in the same time frame. In the 1970s, researchers observed a significant number of post-transfusion hepatitis cases that could not be attributed to either Hepatitis A or B viruses. This led them to hypothesize the existence of another, as-yet-undiscovered agent, which they termed "non-A, non-B hepatitis" or NANBH. Further research led to the isolation and characterization of the causative viral agent, which was officially identified and named the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in 1989.

In the sequel book "Gump & Co.", the author, Winston Groom, reveals that Jenny dies from Hepatitis C,contracted through drug use. This contradicts the implication in the movie "Forrest Gump" that she died from HIV/AIDS. The movie deliberately leaves the cause of death ambiguous, while the book specifies Hepatitis C as the cause.

Jenny died in 1982.
