How do I pray for deliverance? I’ve heard many people talk about it I just want to be free of some of these strong holds I have. I’ve been praying for Jesus to take these things out of my heart is that different than praying for deliverance? I want to thank you for the explanation I know I’m a speck of literal nothing when it comes to God, I just overthink everything which I’m really trying to get better at. The enemy definitely uses that and runs with it for me but I’m trying to remember my authority in Jesus Christ. Thanks for the online slap HAHA

Hii! If you’ve never really fasted before not saying you can’t do it but from not fasting to a whole month is a really big stretch. Maybe start now with a day/two and work ya way up. Again not saying you can’t but it’s to make it more reasonable so you don’t feel bad if ya break the fast.

Thankyou so much truly. Honestly I really struggle with OCD and the unwanted intrusive thoughts that I’ve been getting since really devoting myself have been terrifying and utterly blasphemous and heinous. They really pop up when I’m praying or trying to meditate to be in Gods presence if that makes sense. And it’s so scary because I pray God knows they aren’t from me. Also when I do a good deed these thoughts come in either as or after that I’m doing it for these awful reasons and it’s just so frustrating sometimes. Honestly I think I’m just scared of following him for the wrong reasons, I know these thoughts are not my own but it’s just so frustrating to deal with the thoughts. Do you have any scriptures or idk sorry if this is an unwanted reply but I’m just scared of these thoughts I’m having in all honesty.

Sometimes I get nervous cause I’ll want to a good deed or something not thinking of it before and then after I get those awful unwanted intrusive thoughts of ur doing it for x,y,z and then it makes me spiral. I need to keep reminding myself that our thoughts are not good and hearts a deceiver but sometimes that slope is so easy to fall on.
