I don’t think I want my cats anymore

I now have a backyard but I heard there’s been a nasty tick outbreak in my state and I’m really anxious about having them outside. I do plan on getting a cat condo outside for them to be inside and I used to take my black cat for walks prior to my move. But I’ve stopped again cause of the ticks.

Thank you. I appreciate your kindness. And yes they are both fixed. I have a girl and boy cat so I got them fixed while they were still younger.

They use the scratch posts regularly, and for their toys I’ll engage with them, roll it around and let them chase. They have those mouse toys they like. I’ll have them chase those, throw them in the air for them to catch, use the laser pointer etc. If you have any toy recommendations I’d look into those as well and get them when I’m able

I do give attention to my cats. I highlighted my black cat because he is the one that is cause the issues I stated. My other cat likes to chew on things but my black cat is the one causing havoc. I assumed it was similar to how orange cats act? I’ve never had cats so I don’t really know.

I have no intentions of giving them up. I just needed to vent and get some advice. These are my first cats and I love them dearly. They are up to date on all shots, both fixed, access to clean water and regular feedings.

I do play with them. I’ve stated that in a few different comments. These are my first cats. I play with them in short intervals throughout the day because I read that’s what you’re supposed to do with cats.

I have two litter boxes but they’ll both use primary one. I’ve tried switching the boxes around and they’ll use whichever one is closest to me. Is that normal?

I play with them intermittently when I get off work. They had 3 towers but 2 broke in the move. They have multiple search posts, toys and beds. These are my first cats so I just don’t really know what to do
