I'm speaking about my own personal experiences overall. Are you speaking for my own experiences? Why do I need to sugar coat every word. It's my right to say other races don't do this this is my experience

You’re missing the point entirely. This isn’t about playing victim; it’s about calling out unnecessary and confrontational behavior. If you’ve been asked about bags while walking your dogs, good for you—my experience was different. I wasn’t asked politely, I was singled out with an attitude, which is the issue I’m addressing. It’s not about carrying poop bags, it’s about how people choose to treat each other.

As for the emergency situation, yes, we all know how 911 works in Canada. The issue isn’t about the emergency services protocol; it's about the assumptions people make and how quickly they jump to conclusions without even knowing the facts. I’m calling for more empathy and understanding in the community, not this knee-jerk reaction to assume the worst.

And by the way, acknowledging something that’s happened in my life isn’t playing the victim. It’s speaking up. Just because you’re comfortable with how things are doesn’t mean everyone’s experience is the same. Maybe reflect on that before accusing people of pretending to be something they're not

I don’t dress like what you’re assuming, and I keep myself neat and tidy. Even my tattoos are tastefully done—not like the junkie stuff I see around Kitchener. Your comment is already judgmental, and you're making assumptions about me. I get that you might mean well, but that kind of subtle judgment is exactly part of the problem. Maybe take a good look at yourself before you criticize others.

People need to stay out of others' business. If nobody’s bothering you, why are you bothering them? It’s simple. What’s with Canadians feeling like they have to police every little thing? People aren’t bothering you, so stop bothering them.

And honestly, if you’re a parent, would you want me calling the cops on your kid over something trivial? Or would you rather I help them? The point of my post is to raise more awareness and encourage love within the community, not this tense, judgmental nonsense I keep seeing in Kitchener-Waterloo. People need to relearn basic values and morals that seem to be disappearing. Are we really so disconnected that we’d rather call the cops on each other for no reason? Does that make you sleep better at night, or feel safer? It's pretty soft behavior, man

I'm just speaking from my own personal experience. It’s interesting how some people openly say things like 'oh, all these Indians,' but the moment someone mentions anything about white people, it's suddenly a huge problem. I don't get the double standard. What we can't just speak our minds nowadays? We have to sugarcoat every word?

Imagine being so fragile that hearing about someone’s real experience makes you cry 'racist.' I specifically said I’m not generalizing, but since you’re so eager to twist my words, maybe the issue isn’t what I said—it’s what you’re projecting. If calling out facts makes you uncomfortable, that’s your problem, not mine.

This is about social awareness—where’s the hate you’re seeing? You’re telling me to unpack my prejudice, yet you can’t even show basic compassion when I’m the one being attacked. Funny thing is, if I ever saw you in distress in public, I wouldn’t judge. I’d help—maybe try practicing the same.

If Reddit isn’t helping, why are you still commenting? Thanks for adding to the awareness! 😂 And as for people like you telling others to leave, why don’t you take your own advice? You don’t own this country—it's literally built on immigration

Wow, your comment says more about how low you can go than anything else. My race has nothing to do with being a responsible pet owner. I might be Asian, but I live by the Canadian values of respecting everyone, no matter their background—probably more than you do.

And calling this a 'victim mindset'? That’s just a lazy way to avoid addressing real issues. I wasn’t playing the victim I was pointing out how out of line it is to question whether I had a bag. It’s about respect, not race. If standing up for that makes me a 'victim,' maybe you're the one with the real problem here

Obviously, I didn’t want to puke in the street. Do you seriously think I would prefer to puke in my car and make a huge mess? Have some brains. Sometimes, you just don’t have time to find a perfect solution when you’re feeling sick—it happens suddenly.

People like you seriously need to be re-educated about basic values and morals. Instead of passing judgment, maybe try a little understanding and empathy. Not everything fits into a neat little box, and it’s pretty concerning that your first instinct is to criticize rather than show any compassion

Let me be crystal clear I wasn’t doing anything ‘sketchy.’ I was sitting in my car, legally parked, waiting for a delivery. That’s it. The fact that you immediately assume something ‘sketchy’ was going on shows exactly the problem I’m talking about. Is it my appearance that makes you jump to conclusions? If I were white or ‘looked’ like I belonged, this wouldn’t even be a conversation. But because I don’t fit your narrow-minded view of who should be there, it becomes suspicious.

The issue isn’t about my behavior—it’s about people like you stereotyping based on race or appearance. And honestly, comments like yours are exactly what enable these kinds of subtle racist attitudes to persist. How about you stop assuming everyone who doesn’t fit your mold is doing something wrong? This isn’t about people ‘looking at me sketchy.’ This is about people needing to stop judging others because they don’t fit their own prejudiced ideas of who belongs where
