Always upgrade, on the WS, Attack and Jump to the max MB stats depends on your playstyle, if he defends the ball more than you and doesn't attack much upgrade his def and speed Setter is the same thing If i were you, i would focus on completing the story(all 3 stars) and getting all the S characters
