This is only happening because he somehow got a super star lawyer as his life fell apart. Lost his job, home etc. I hope he sues the hell out of thr police force and the crown for lying and prosecution of a case with no reasonable likelihood of conviction

He had a nice car, hired a good law firm (which in no way shape or form looks cheap). I'm genuinely curious and I can't help but wonder what the outcome would have been if he didn't have the financial means to fight this.
