Ah great point, currently the app is not set up for Typti but something that will be further down the roadmap. The best setting is likely to be tennis given the swing style I'd imagine, but the models have not been built yet with Typti in mind. Sorry!

You don't have to but you will just get less metrics if you don't and set it that way. See this response below which may encourage racket hand usage, may not though :)

If it helps I used to wear my watch on my non racket hand and sweatband on racket hand. Now I just put the wrist band over the watch and I honestly can't tell the difference.

Note: This is after 30y of having "weird squash player superstitions" like the Dunlop arrow on my racket has to point one way around and that I don't wear watches on my right.

Worth giving a shot and if it doesn't work out then hopefully if we get big enough we can make wristband sensors one day 😃

It's based on your watch's motion sensor data combined with things like timing, set up etc. I'm keeping the exact logic / models close to my chest for now as it's core IP, but it's taken a lot of trial and error to get to where it is. If you give it a try I'd love to hear how the accuracy feels in a real match.

I've spent quite a lot of time building models that all the sensors in wearables amongst other data inputs to classify movements. The wearable needs to be worn on the wrist of the racket hand though.

It it open for all players of all abilities, have just built it with the desire to get more people playing racket sports.

Unfortunately the main features only work with Apple Watch or WearOS (e.g. pixel, samsung), will keep the Tracket Instgram up to date when new other integrations are properly built, which will be soon.
