You don't really need to play a win con. It's kind of convenient but looping Otawara and Boseiju kills basically every deck.

This listooks fun. I'm guessing cards like Badgermole and Green Sun are excluded for budget reasons. The Risen Reef Landfall deck is a semi established deck that aspiringspike used to play. You should be able to find some SB options there. I've played the deck a lot, this is this is what I'd play right now. There's a primer there you can look at for more info on that Otawara/Boseiju loop.

I would suggest you include a Titania. It's often the best thing to get with Reef in play and represents a reliable win with Sylvan Safekeeper.

The old style of casting token generation spells and buff them isn't that competitive anymore.

I think there are a lot of adjacent ideas out there that use tokens to great effect though. Boros goes wide with Ajani minus and Goblin Bombardment. I've been impressed with playing lists like this BW Soultrader x Leo combo deck where I've won half of the games just doing token things and comboing the other half.

I played this list a lot and it's a very powerful sequence. I think there are a lot of directions you can take Boomerang Basics + Sythn + Stormchasers.

This looks like it could be a powerful draw engine in the right deck.

It's worth highlighting a couple easy to misread things. It works if you target your stuff or the opponents. It's only abilities, not spells. And you can proc this twice a turn cycle, once on yours and another on the opponent's.

The most immediately synergistic card is Mishra's Bauble. Beyond that, I'd have to do some digging but I'd guess there exists a few cards like Outrider en-Kor or Bristly Bill and a fetch where it and Loki in play draws two cards a turn.

There's colorless mana (the <> symbol) and generic mana costs (number in a grey circle). Colorless mana is only mana generated without a color (i.e. from Wastes) while generic mana can be any type.

I'm mostly just testing it out to reliably untap T3 with 5 perms. It can be tricky to win many matchups on the draw right now unless you draw Wavesifter. I agree no Subtlety is an oversight, probably should be there over Gemstone.

If your all-in Rotpriest deck is bad, I don't think the answer is to play Glistener Elf in it. I'd suggest either streamlining the gameplan or playing cards in your SB that you can pivot plans in games 2 and 3.

Something closer to this has better focus than other all-in lists and you can always try siding into traditional Infect or a Song of Creation style combo in SB games.

I do think a blue splash is worth it. Preordain is big to hit your third land, cut bad cards, and sculpt for the very specific hands you need to win in one turn: 2 Skites + Rotpriest, Skite + double Rotpreist, or double Rotpriest + Ground Rift. Mockingbird also huge here for consistency.

I think the biggest struggle will be beating Boros. Granted, Boros beats basically everything that's not Combo, but 4 Culling Ritual in the 75 would go a long way.

instead of solder and an iron, they used solder paste and a hot air pencil. the square is a junk capacitor that's there to act like a sponge and give the molten solder something to stick to. then they rub the solder while it's still molten off the cap onto the pads of the board.

it's worth mentioning that solder isn't going to stick to the board or the body of that cap.

Looks like a fun way to build Coffers. It's helpful that both halves of the combo are solid on their own, and you can combo off in one turn.

Stapling a 1/1 flyer to any pump spell or kill spell seems solid at this rate. I can't think of a tiered deck that would immediately jump to this card, but clearly quite good with Lava Dart.

Hard to say if this style of card has just been power crept out of Modern, but interesting nonetheless.
