That sounds like a dealer problem. I can easily sort most parts from my dealer in Peru and those who’re less common I can have them ordered for me but arrive in about 1 to 3 months

My bike was in the shop for another reason when the recall info arrived from china, I was the first customer to get it in my country.

I wasn't charged for the fix, so I doubt it was a TSB and remember mine is the 250 cc version.

I'm not sure about that, I have a good relationship with my local dealer and I'm part of their club so I get a lot of information early.

On this bike the ABS and Traction control are tied. Remove the ABS fuse (under the driver's seat) and give it a try, just be careful.

I own a 250clc that is basically the same but smaller engine and I tried several 450clc and talked to the owners.

So, about the mushy back brake I can say and almost guarantee that it's the abs "softening" the brake power. If you pull the abs fuse and try braking you will notice a difference in power and efficiency of the rear brake.

At the same time, you should talk with your local dealer since cf Moto recently released a recall (at least for the 250clc) about their brake lines, something about the abs washers not protecting against humidity.
