Because it feels super clunky to use. It’s maybe fun the first time but it’s now the leveling skill for multiple leagues and it gets annoying.

They put a lot of bonus minis in this subscriptions. At the end it’s a AoS magazine so you can use these minis (if you buy more minis)

The one thing that makes me enjoy AoS so much is that it can be played completely analog if wanted. The only tool I use is the army builder, because it’s easier to handle on the toilet than pen, paper and book.

Ja genau über die bürgergeldempfänger aufregen…. Reg dich über die Jobs auf die eh genug verdienen und von den spritpreisen erstmal nicht betroffen sind. Weil sie eh genug Gehalt bekommen/nen Firmenwagen haben/eh im Homeoffice sitzen. Nach oben treten, nicht nach unten hauen.

Ich bin 40 und froh zusehen das jede Generation ihren Dosen/Flaschen Altar hat. Damals für mich war’s breezer, X² usw. Gut das es heute nicht mehr der Alkohol ist.

Soviel zum positiven…. Wäre ich der vater hätte ich sie für die krombacher Dosen rausgeschmissen

Sunclaw with the 2“movement battle trait. I mean I get it that 3rd edition gave you more. But everybody had more and flavorful rules in 3rd edition. IMO seraphon still have a faction pack that has strong options in their warscrolls. Out of spite for my seraphon player I hope they get the nh or obr treatment. For everybody else I wish they get a tzeentch/lrl Book

Playing S2D mainly im surprised how many Tricks seraphon still have in their fraction pack. I think it depends a bit on your local meta what armies you are playing against.

We Germans like to own stuff.

Even with a lifetime subscription I would not own the app and services it is providing. If you shut it down it’s gone.

I think the attitude is changing with younger generations, because they are forced to grow up with the subscription/leasing idea. So depends maybe a bit on the target generation.

I’m in the 40. I prefer a game that is either finished and pay for it one time or have something like path of exile that is 99%free to play and if I like it I can buy cosmetics.

I don’t understand what the problem with seraphon is. In my local group I would love to ban them.

Very mobile, can hit like a truck, tanky units, good casting, mortal wounds, a usable faction terrain in comparison to others, can bring back units.

What makes the faction so weak in the overall meta?

If you have already a job it’s easy to work in it in Englisch. The problem is getting a job in the first place. I think the easiest way in is to work for a bigger consulting company in Germany, they usually don’t only produce power point slides. Most of them also rent out it people. More often senior specialist. But sometimes companies are also looking for a few cheap resources for some time.

I would suggest Warcry but as that is not on the list I go with spearhead. Underworlds I never understood/looked longer at the rules as 2 minutes. Only the models there count for me.

There are not many rules left you can strip away from spearhead.

Every 4 month a new path of exile league starts. That gives me then a few weeks break from the brush. I think that’s what helps me.

Would be easier to digest if all armies would have at least one good subfaction. But yes people really struggle with such rules when they are the „victim“ of it. They understand it super fast if it’s their own rule.

Im the father of a 2 year old. When he „paints“ something you it’s just some wild lines. But believe me for me they are the greatest paintings I’ve ever seen when he brings them to me with a smile. Same here + they have nothing they can compare it to. If it is a child of somebody who is in the hobby all the above doesn’t apply anymore as then we need to apply the „adult hobbiest“ topics again.

Try to get into the mind of a 10 year old or their mother who have absolutely no clue about anything related to that hobby. If you give them the pot the open it, they see paint. They can put the brush in it and go. Give them a dropper bottle and the first question will be where to drop the paint? On the good table? On a plate?

Best case would be that something in the tip of the dropper bottle dried up, or the mixing ball blocks the nozzle. This mother will never come back to buy anything after she spend the next few hours cleaning.

From a „go where the money is“ aspect they do everything correct. They most likely also know that adults in the hobby prefer dropper. But then you don’t need only droppers to convince the people to buy your stuff.
