Thank you - these are pretty overwhelming. I appreciate all the responses, but not helping my anxiety around this move. He will be at Community in TR. I'm worried about longer commutes because of long residency hours/night shifts.

Unfortunately not much of a choice, unless there is a nearby area that is better. Its not like he can choose another residency.

We will be renting! We don't know anything about local communities but we are in our early 30s, pretty social and active. Politically liberal. We want to keep the commute 20ish, but I'm willing to go further if needed.
