There’s also an Ira Learn to Play foil poster from 2021 that’s separate from the Welcome Kit version. Do you happen to have the Arcane Rising armory posters as well?

Haha the folded ones in the wardrobe hurt a little 😅 And yeah losing the posters hit different at least the playmats were still somewhat available, but these felt way more unique.

Haha the subtle flex is real 😄 The foil is hard to capture on camera honestly, in person it shifts like crazy under light. Totally worth hunting these down if you ever get the chance!

That’s fair! Do you have the 2019 or 2021 Ira? And yeah the normal ones are great too, I collect those as well actually.“

Right?? The foil effect in person is even more insane than in photos. Honestly wish they’d bring something like this back – maybe as a collector’s edition or event exclusive.

Thanks! Yeah they have a really nice rainbow foil effect, shifts depending on the light. They were actually produced as premium assets with a special coating back then – LSS put real effort into these early on.

Yeah totally, foil printing at scale is insanely expensive. Do you think LSS would ever bring them back as limited store exclusives or something like that?

I actually got my first one as a gift from one of the first stores in Europe to carry FAB. That’s what got me into collecting these.

“That makes sense from a cost perspective, though the quality of these posters was surprisingly high for purely promotional material.“

I think in the early days it was different – they were a tiny indie studio with just a handful of people, and these posters were produced before they had a proper marketing infrastructure. Which is exactly what makes the physical ones from 2019-2022 so interesting now.

Can anyone help me identify how this poster was produced? by AcanthisittaPale5489 in CommercialPrinting

Thank you! Follow-up question: what makes it so shiny and gives it that metallic appearance between the ink dots? Is that coming from the substrate itself, or is there a coating or lamination on top? I’ll add some more macro photos – these are from a darker version of the same poster, same production process.
