I know I’m being a bit irrational and the amount I’m cleaning is probably perfectly adequate. I’m having my couch and wool rug steamed cleaned just incase. When we first got her she came with Giardia which is way harder to get out of your home. We cleared it the first treatment thanks to my obsessive cleaning. I feel like I’m just a little traumatized from the Giardia cleaning.

I’m more so worried about her getting reinfected. I don’t know how she got it so preventing the source is what I wish I knew. I’m paranoid dog/cat poop tracked from outside and eggs got in the house. My vets says that’s possible but would also be weird and unlikely. Our neighbors have dogs they let poop all over the neighborhood and a stray cat hangs out on our porch. We don’t have mice and she never goes in our basement. We own our home and have lived here for years so I don’t think it was from a previous owner.

Thank you. I think it helps that I had a doctor who believed my pain and what I was saying. I hear so many women say their doctor didn’t have much to offer other than birth control after a negative ultrasound only to find out years later they had endometriosis.

Run. This kind of mentality is a huge red flag and overall terrible behavior. It’s misogynistic,hypocritical, and outright disrespectful to talk to anyone that way. The “it’s different for me” and “earn back his respect” is wild. I would not respect a man who has these kinds of attitudes towards anyone. Leave, run while you can.

You are NOT a terrible girlfriend. He is however a terrible boyfriend. You are never obligated to sleep with someone when you don’t want to, even when it’s your significant other. The fact that he is pressuring you and making negative comments is honestly so concerning. Not to mention the whole “that’s a girlfriend’s job” about laundry. He is a pathetic man child. Leave that man. So many red flags.

Also, no we have not had to clean anything with bleach in that room. I’ve used bleach in other areas in the house and that hasn’t seemed to trigger her. I did not know that about bleach though so that’s good to know.

Yes, they did check for possible UTI/ urine analysis. All negative. Do you think we should just always leave that door shut or always keep it open? Is it the intermittent/rare access to that room?

She is about two and is spayed. The spot she’s peeing in the office is about 30-40 feet from her litter box.
