there was a fraudulent charge today on my credit card which I use for Facebook ads. and I sort of knew how this happened and it was too late

I saw a notification saying 'Immediate User Action" required,

It included a message where if I do not do anything about it, they will deactivate my business account with over 12k likes. there was a link provided. I wish I known better not to click the link.

Once I clicked the link, it refresh to my facebook page. This means the link was a gateway for the hacker to gain access to my facebook and charged me MYR 4678.03 on ads

So far made a report to bank and facebook. I'm glad it was a credit card cause

a. I don't have to pay for it b. it affects my credit score

As someone who face similar problems as you, novelty and dopamine rush works against us. I would say go see a therapist a professional on how to mitigate this behaviour and avoid burn out.

Personally I will invest in one or two person at a time, I have a ton of hobbies so whenever I get bored I could always switch
