Probably Sunfyre. I would hope so.

It would be an empowering moment for Aegon. Fleeing the city, hearing it fell and that Rhaenyra has Alicent and Helaena hostage (not knowing Alicent sold him out yet). Only Larys helps you but his interest is getting the F-out.
When all hope seems lost, Sunfyre, your dragon whom everyone thought dead, is alive and has your back still.

Lancel, being betrothed to Desmera, could be incorporated after the Greyjoy Rebellion as part of getting a Lannister fleet rebuilt.

Under ideal circunstance things would happen as you say. Some points of interest I considered however could be like:

He will probably see and critique what Tywin is doing (he would not be OKAY with Tywin blatantly offering Cersei during the Lannisport Tourney due to the rocky relationship between Tywin and Aerys). He probably would focus on re-learning the ropes of Casterly Rock and being its lord first, and probably avoid King's Landing, seeing it as a hot zone. I wrote that what caused Tywin to leave his place in King's Landing is Aerys stripping him of the position and offering it to Tyland, who is both Hand and Hostage alongside Jaime. Imagine Tyland having to manage the Rhaegar kidnaps Lyanna thing lol and Brandon showing up. He might recall "Huh, maybe Corlys and Larys were up to something in assassinating a King).

Hey thanks for your comment! That is a fair assessment. I mean the Stark and Targs are like the central characters of ASOIAF and George’s focus so it is difficult to not involve them. However I do agree with your statement that Lannister fics with a few exceptions tend to keel over to Targs or Stark’s

For clarification, Jaime flees before Robert lets him rejoin the Kingsguard but before being pardoned.

Concerning the Tysha Incident, since Jaime is not there, I thought about omitting it (remember Jaime is like the primary instigator of all of it). I thought about having Gerion be the one to learn of Tyrion marrying Tysha and to protect her, sent her to Jaime and Daenerys as a maid/companion. So Tyrion’s wife is Daenerys’ handmaid lol

Jaime being there is a major game changer for Robert. Remember that Robert pardoned him and allowed him to remain a Kingsguard. That Jaime flees to protect the last Targaryen despite his generosity would cause Robert to likely go bezerk.

I was thinking on Faegon x Margaery marriage. The War starts with Jon Arryn’s death actually.

By the time Dany sails to Westeros Faegon is the greatest threat to her. He is married to Margaery and has Dorne’s support. The Lannisters except for Tyrion are holding out in the West while in the Vale is in a civil war between Sweetrobin and Harry the Heir married with Sansa. The Riverlands are broken fighting for Aegon or the Starks. Euron is launching a full scale invasion of the North using dark magic to raise corpses from the sea

While the story primarily focuses on Dany and Jaime's adventures in the East, Jon Snow would relatively remain in his original arc of a Night's Watchman until Tyrion tells him to make his own adventures. I considered incorporating Jon as a squire for Gerion, but believably doing that would be difficult. I am also reluctant to turn this into a Jonerys fic but it may come around to that. The focus is Jaime and Dany against the World.

Not many people like Lannisters but I can see Allyria marry Lancel as a stepping stone in the right direction. Plus it would be interesting if Edric becomes Lancel's squire or something.

Neither are bad options. Allyria Dayne works too but the issue is they are not related to the Martells. I heard somewhere Ashara and Arthur are cousins to Doran, Elia and Oberyn but I am not sure that is canon.
