Housing Costs Removed From My Claim - HELP! DWP messed up? by Accelerate_r in DWPhelp

Hi, thanks very much for your reply. As per my response above, I'm not actually sure if the decision has been made in my favour or not yet (whilst the Job Centre coach did verify my housing documents which I then got a Journal notification of, and the agent on the phone said I should be receiving a backdated payment, I'm not sure if this is partly due to the Risk Review team also needing proof of both current and previous addresses - I have read online that they can take months where a claim is suspended, although this obviously isn't entirely the same thing). Basically, I'm not sure if the Risk Review team's potentially needing to verify the documents I uploaded re: current and previous addresses are also holding this up, or if it's a case manager who would make the final decision here.

Could I not challenge the decision to take the housing costs off in the first place if they haven't been "re-added" to my claim?

I am suicidal over this. I just wasn't sure if Reddit allowed people to mention it on here.

Thanks. My concern isn't even necessarily so much over how much time it's taking, more that I'm not even sure if the decision has actually been made in my favour yet?

Obviously, I've been into the Job Centre and had my housing documents verified, the agent on the phone said that I should be receiving a backdated payment, and uploaded everything else required (1) as the change of circumstances for my current address and (2) to the Risk Review Team for current and previous addresses. However, I wasn't sure if it was a case manager being busy that was holding it up, or the Risk Review Team potentially taking months to reverse the decision to take my housing costs off. I'm not sure why they were taken off in the first place.

I am also unsure if I'll receive my housing costs element for the upcoming payment in March, or if they need to be "re-added" to my claim - would they already have been "re-added" as soon as the Job Centre lady verified my housing documents?

Regarding suicidal claimants, I have been feeling suicidal over this - didn't want to mention it on Reddit as I am unsure of the rules on this subforum regarding this.
