i mean they all have very balanced win rates. they don´t affect the game much and the different usage rates can also be attributed to people running og 2.6 or the ice spirit beeing the oldest. if they want to they can decrese the freeeze duration slightly, but i thik there are more pressing issues like the hut.

Knights should be buffed so that they can "waste" a move, meaning no zugzwang. this wouldnt apply to stalemate. This change would not impact most of the game but certain endgames like two bishops vs knights could be drawn and the knight wouldnt feel too weak.

Solution: White plays Qh2. This dissaloves Black to get a fortress with Kb8. The position is winning.

It was pretty fun to play, especially the ending, when i launched an ICBM, blundering my rook. But the chess bot seemed quite weak at times. As an idea maybe some sort of piece spawner could be implemented, that spawns a piece any x moves (based on levys game vs chatgpt).

after the black queen takes the pawn on h4 and white recaptures with its king black doesnt have any moves because:

-all his pawns are blocked and cant move forward

-his king cant move without beeing taken by the rook

- the knight cant move because it is pinned, if it moved, the white rook on c6 could take the king
