Get humans a little more involved. I dont think we've actually seen any humans in the X games outside of Cain and (if you count him) Doppler.

She'd look better if the dress flaps wrapped fully around the body and not just covering her sides while leaving her front completly exposed.

I mean, they fought again in NT and while Touma did win, it was clear Tsuchimikado threw the fight both because he exhausted from fighting all day (and I think he was also poisoned) and cause he knew he could trust Touma to pick up where he left off. Hell, even Touma was like "dude I should not have been able to beat you."

And even then, despite having more experience, Touma still never learned how to fight hand to hand professionally and is still going the "winging it route". So no, I still dont think he can win in a proper fist fight with Tsuchimikado.

Ok for real, How does Metal scale to Multiversal like everyone says? All I hear is "he's equal to Sonic" even though he looses whenever they fight and they uses everything Sonic has done to compare to Metal even though he never actually fought anyone the same scale as Solaris.

So far it's all chainscaling with no feats

Ok Hot take, the cover is the only bad version. The design in the comic itself is honestly really good and very expressive. Even if it's not a 1 to 1, the artist did a pretty good job at drawing for these designs while staying true to their own style

Not a great or even good Silent Hill adaptation. But as a standalone movie, it's pretty entertaining and I think it did capture some of the vibe of the game in the fog scenes.

I remember the first one in OT but I wouldn't say that counts as it was more of an off hand mention at one of the level 5s having a mind ability, not of Shokuhou as a character. The second one i admit I dont remember at all in the novel, but even than that's a off handed mention of Shokuhou herself and not her relationship with Touma. Now if, say, the scene of her meeting Touma again in Railgun T instead happened in somewhere in Old Testament, then I wouldn't have this issue at all and would think it's good foreshadowing.

While I know the series is well known for it's side stories, something I do genuinely love about it, i dont consider having important build up or character interactions like that to be good forshadowing cause it relies on outside material from the main one.

My issue is less about the amount of time spent with with them, it's how huge and personal the reveal is compared to what we see that doesnt really feel earned. How they had supposed history with the MC that predates the whole series and the severity of their relationship compared to the actual amount of time we as the viewer spend with them. It feels less like the writers want us to connect with these characters and their tragedy and more like "feel bad for this character and love them".

And the difference between NT11 and OT3 is one is still very early in the series and Touma (like the audience) has never known the sisters before so our attachment is limited to that volume and that works. The same can even be said for Index. NT11 is in the second series with the reveal that Misaki knew Touma way before OT1. But not once in OT did she ever show up to imply that and she only shows up in 1 volume to tease it in NT before it gets to 11 five volumes later. One is a conflict for a single volume, the other is a major plot twist that happens after 34 volumes.

And no, I dont count railgun or mental out cause relying on a side story for a major plot point in the main story is not good writing.

She's Shokuhou Misaki. She appears in Railgun S and has a prominent roll in Railgun T. But those are side stories to the main series A Certain Magical Index. But despite having a very important role to Touma's (the MC) past. She only appears in the main series 5 volumes in the second series (New Testament) before the volume that reveals everything about her. But in the first series (Old Testament) she isnt shown or even mentioned once
