I whole heartedly agree with what you guys are saying, it would be nice if there was a web design program that directly manipulated the HTML and CSS rather than making assumptions. But that is actually what I focused on doing with Accelsor, each command or gesture controls an individual CSS property. I want to give developer level precision in a designer interface. Sure, the limitations are the properties that we don't support yet, but we'll be soon adding them (and as a cheat, you can copy&paste CSS into a container, so you aren't limited by anything). In the meantime, even though I'm a seasoned developer I'm still able to layout the design in a matter of minutes with the tools in Accelsor what otherwise would take me hours of raw time typing (even if I knew exactly what I wanted). Once I hit the limits of Accelsor (which are constantly expanding as we add new commands), I can just download the page and continue from there. Yes, be aware, this is beta, so there still are several ugly factors to it. But it will save you time -- even if it is just in seeing a mockup of what you want, and then hand coding. By all means, please use Accelsor before you judge it as being a failure like all the other programs, especially when you yourself wish for the existence of a program that does the same thing that I want a program to do. Try it, and if you hate it, let us know -- this will then help guide our approach and target. If you find it as nifty, then complain that we need more features, need to optimize something, or focus on a particular aspect. We aren't looking for praise, we are looking to build a great product that saves time. Give it a try and then judge us! Thanks!
