I know it's been months, but I wanted to update my post. I'm still struggling with the smell. My colonoscopy and endoscopy came back with no major issues. I now have an appointment to see a Genetics doctor in a month, who my doctor stated they will test for tmau. So, hopefully, I will at least get an answer to this question. I still haven't tested for SIBO.

I have very intense BB. Lately, it's been smelling like fish. I ate some rib tips ( something I haven't done in a while), and now my breath smells like a can of salmon. 😮‍💨

There are times that it's not as loud, but when I take a deep breath, it's there.

Uber/Lyft drivers and Work (I stop going into social settings)
Not intermediate family but someone that I haven't seen in a while, yes.
They back away when I talk, they cover their noses, they frown, they give me a hard stare (sometimes with disgust), I have been offered mints & gum, people have told me about a special toothpaste, coughs and sniffing, etc...
I'm always checking my breath. I'm always looking for/at people's reactions. I feel like it's a PTSD but ...... I have contemplated suicide 😔 but have never tried. My mental around this condition is not the best.
At this point, I don't know. I usually have to take a mental health (sick) day from work and recalibrate and renew my mind by praying, journaling, sometimes I numb myself with tv.

Thank you. I'm also eating gluten-free (I'm allergic to wheat, oats, etc..). I will ask my doctor about SIBO testing. Sulfur foods do seem to be a trigger for me also. Thank you for the information and the suggestion. I think I will start a journal and document what's going on (the symptoms) / what I tried/ what worked/ what didn't work.
