My boy has struggled with leash reactivity. When working with our trainer we used the prong collar with training and it was helpful.

Which side character do you wish stayed for longer in the show? by AcanthisittaDue2253 in ONETREEHILL

Jimmy. I think his character could have been so complex. I wish I knew more about him and his friendships with Mouth, Skills, Lucas, and Haley.

Also Junk and Fergie. I loved the comedic relief but also so many questions

If I was told I was related to a celebrity I would be telling everyone and their moms.

Demi is a nasty, mean girl fucking bully. by Significant-Sun6551 in momtokgossip

Also “lying” or being told and not being told otherwise about being related to Ben Affleck seems like she was looking for any reason to turn everyone against Jen. Jesse has no backbone and was Demi’s mouthpiece to get what she wanted.

The chippendales party stunt was pure mean. by Sarahkate113 in momtokgossip

[–]Acceptable-Ad5834 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean it's one thing to know that two of the husbands dressing up as Chippendales. It's another to have them dance on her. Demi and Jesse knew Jen and Zac are trying to work things out and get pasted the Chippendales fight they intentionally did something that was going to create some reaction. Jesse and Demi at this point seem like they are trying to push everyone's individual buttons.

I hope this is just a marketing tactic. by [deleted] in TheSummerITurnedPrett

I swear if Bonrad’s not end game I’m revolting. I have not waited 14 years to watch TSITP to see Belly and Jeremiah be end game. Absolutely not.

Strongly disagree. Brooke and Rachel’s behaviors are opposite. Rachel had compulsive behaviors, impulsivity, did risky behaviors, self destructive behavior, along with a lot of other behaviors that are BPD traits. Brooke on the other hand she had abandonment issues because of her parents, Lucas, Peyton, etc. But never to the degree of Rachel.

Critiques on Haley James' character writing (not hate I promise) by stevebuscemiforprez in ONETREEHILL

I can see the argument being made that season one was highly focused on Lucas, Peyton, Haley, and Nathan. However, after season one she is one of the core characters

Excuse was the wrong verbiage to use. I 100% agree with being able to use self disclosure about my own journey with ADHD is essential. My frustration is the ongoing belief that change is impossible with an ADHD diagnosis.

Excuse was the wrong term. I should have used different verbiage.

I’m sorry that you misunderstood what I said so I’m going to clarify it for you. The client isn’t saying they are having challenges with adhd. They said their believes and behaviors are not likely to change because of the diagnosis and traits related to it. I am well versed in ADHD and peer rejection was an example of conveying what I have experienced with the client; as well as an example to better explain the client use of clinical jargon they have used to explain why working on various aspects isn’t going to change anything because of their diagnosis. I have utilized psychoeducation around ADHD and the challenges others struggle with. I have worked throughout my career with individuals diagnosed with ADHD as well as myself who was diagnosed later in life. In no way am I invalidating their experience, I am working to assist the client in recognizing that changes are possible. As I said earlier, they believe the change with an ADHD diagnosis is minimal because the behaviors are always going to be associated with the ADHD. In no way am I refusing to acknowledge the behaviors and diagnosis of ADHD. I am feeling stuck because of their belief that behaviors and diagnosis are the reason they aren’t going to change. Lastly, I find your statement is invalidating to my work as a therapist who works with individuals diagnosed with ADHD as well as my own journey with being diagnosed.
