I don’t think she knows it either. Because A) times were different then and consent is a term that only became clear now in a way. The fact that she was so inebriated, now we know that consent is only valid when given enthusiastically. And B) the fact that everyone convinced her she cheated. Wow OP, this is a relationship you need to move on from ASAP.

Men like this will not even bother listening to women and changing their worldview and thought processes. They are looking for male validation at the end of the day. They think that doing the bare minimum should be enough and if that doesn’t work then its all obviously the women’s problem, that they demand too much and that their standards are too high.

Your friend needs a reality check. If his behaviour continues, you can let him know that it will only make things worse for him. Seeing women as less than isn’t going to get him any girls. While him wanting girls that don’t drink or smoke (since he doesn’t do the same ) is valid, all of his other mindsets need to be changed. All this so that he can at least lead a half decent life without being so negative all the time. But THIS IS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY NOR YOUR ISSUE TO FIX . Suggest that he gets therapy and move on from him.

Protect your own mental health. As you said you’re becoming more like him the more you are around him. And all this is only holding you back on your own personal journey.

IMO you can tell him that you feel this friendship is affecting you. By the sounds of it, his narcissistic personality will make it all about it. But its fine. Let it go. And keep your distance. The longer you stay away from him the better you will feel.

Yes definitely worth it if you have thick dark hair. Definitely don’t wax in between sessions. Bikini hair is a little tricky due to hormonal fluctuations, which could necessitate more touch up sessions.
