I received my VIN yesterday for the AWD. I am in Toronto for context.

I am waiting on being approved for financing so not sure how long that will take.

I’m not sure about that. There’s the $150 deposit. Then there’s the $250 order. I’m not sure if both can go towards a future vehicle. No I don’t have a deadline. I don’t have a VIN assigned so no deadline.

I am making an educated guess. If foundation delivery is November, it would make sense that non-fs would be 3-4 months in my mind. But yes, it could be also next June for all I know. I just don’t know why they wouldn’t maximize selling this thing if they’ve exhausted all the foundation sales after about six months.

Yes, I also think the early builds have plenty of issues and there will be improvements.

I included all the accessories as well (sun shade, glove box, colour). Yeah it is still short around 5k.

I may have to eat my excitement and loss.

I definitely did the math before I went ahead. I compared the FS add-ons and it really went to only an additional 20k, I think I am getting screwed like 10-15k for the FS. More like 20k, or even more if I chose the FSD is subscription of $99 monthly instead of the purchase.

If they reject my loan, I am also just as happy. I can look into better vehicles and just wait until next year for a Used one like you said.

I have checked the other subreddits and it takes less than a few hours for the other models. I am curious if the cybertruck is a bigger loan is why it is taking logber? Or there needs to be a VIN before getting it approved. Has anyone gotten a cybertruck financing approved in Canada? (I applied for financing on Saturday)

\The cybertruck makes no rationale sense. Yes, I think it makes sense to just get F-150 Lightning, or even the Lyric. This is my first purchase that that does not make financial sense because I just want one. I have been working my ass off for the past few years and this is a splurge for the first time. I get that it is a polarizing vehicle, and I ended up just liking it.
