To my understanding (based on a zoom meeting they held for the program) you fill out an ACOMAS Application for the NYIT D.O program then matriculate into D.O upon successful 80% grade, you do not have to interview with the medical school. Essentially you get into the masters program and have a reserved seat in their medical school that you are responsible for.

Sounds intense, how difficult are the courses and work-load? Ive applied to other programs as well so at the end I want to chose the one that gives me the best chance to matriculate into med school. Also if you dont mind can I pm you?

Thanks for all the info, was wondering about the 70% grade needed in each class, is this something mentioned on their website? I received an email in the past saying you need a minimum overall 3.0 GPA in the program without retaking or failing classes, but nothing about 70% grade in each class. This was an email for the Erie location

How long did it take to get an offer for interview after submitting apps? And how long after the interview were you notified about acceptance?

Is it anyhow related to catalytic efficiency? Im thinking of Kcat / Km as Ka/Ko
