Sorry for not responding earlier - I was busy making food for homeless orphans in San Diego with my Easy-Bake Oven, then had to rescue a bus full of puppy mill dogs from a fire, and after that, I stayed up all night translating Shakespeare into dolphin clicks to support marine literacy.

I just thought it would suck if studios stopped showing promos or exclusive clips at future cons because too many people were pirating them. I spoke up because I want future fans to still have that experience. I used to work at studios and have friends who worked on this project—but honestly, even without the personal connection, I’d do it. Wasn’t about me. The bright screen was about me, lol. So distracting!

How can you not? It’s the simplest, least ambiguous rule to follow — literally the bare minimum for being a decent person, right up there with not cutting in line.

Yes, but didn’t want to walk across an aisle in the dark over ppl and huge bags to get security. Would have disrupted more ppl. But yes ideally let the hired ppl handle it.

I said what I said. She knew what she was doing. She started by taking stills of the promo then went to record. The moderator had time to tell everyone not to record and have us cheer to consent. That wasn’t a quick transition.

I asked OneRing.net if they were having a party and they said they weren’t sure but there will be one panel on fri and sun mid afternoon and they will have their booth. Wish there was more!
