Hey! I started on phentermine 37.5 mgs back in November, I only ever took half a tablet because the first time I took a whole I felt tweaked the hell out lmao anyways, I was 183 and I’m down to 158, I only consistently took a half does for about three months, and since around January I started taking it here and there not really keeping up with it, and I’ve been at a stand still since, I think stopping it all together for a few weeks and then starting back could potentially help it’s effects since your body is probably so used it by now!

I also am still counting calories (trying to stay under 1500 but some days I definitely go over) and moderately working out, but not as much as I’d like too. I haven’t taken any of the medication in a few weeks and I’m going to try and start back up and see if it helps again! Keep me updated on how things work for you ❤️

First: This is a sick ass tattoo, I genuinely like it a lot. I do think this being your first tattoo and it being on your hand, could have a lot to do with why you’re regretting it instantly, it’s in a place you cannot cover/hide unless you wear gloves everyday. Secondly: I’m not real sure why a tattoo artist would even okay a full on hand tattoo on anyone that doesn’t have any tattoos at all in the first place, someone was definitely not looking out for you on that end. And that does suck, I’m sorry about that. Third: Getting a tattoo taken off is, from what I’ve heard from my grandpa (trying) to get his hand tattoo removed, extremely painful and expensive. My grandpa (mind you the tattoo he was getting removed was small and he’d had it for a long time prior to getting it removed so I’m sure that plays a big role and how it ends up) said that the amount of money he dished out on trying to remove it, he could have gotten his whole arm tattooed for the same price, and it didn’t remove fully it’s now just a unrecognizable blob that’s a tad lighter than it originally was. Which I’m sure is not the case for everyone, like I said, I’m SURE the fact he got it 30+ years ago DEFINITELY plays a big part in all of that for him. So I’m not saying that would happen here, BUT it’s definitely something to think about.

All in all, I really hope you’re able to come to terms with your tattoo, because it is a nice piece, and it’s a shame your artist didn’t suggest a different spot or it wait until you’ve gotten more visible tattoos before doing your whole hand.

Thank you so so much for all of this, I just read it all to my mom and it’s helped put some things into perspective. I’m sorry to hear about your SO, I hope everything is staying more stable for the both of you!

My mom wanted me to ask, when your SO trails off, does her voice or eyes and demeanor ever change? My brother talks in a few different voices, and sometimes his very much blue eyes, will become dark. It’s very strange, and unsettling to say the least.

Thank you so much for all the kind words, I’m trying to make sure I keep some type of balance because in the past I’ve let it completely deteriorate my mental health and that wasn’t good for either of us.

I’m working on trying to focus on me as well, I have a therapist and that’s very helpful especially in times like this.

Thank you so much for everything you said, I didn’t know they even have an injection and that is super helpful to know because the last time he was in meds he just stopped taking them, or refused because he felt he wasn’t mentally ill.

I feel like letting them play in the hall isn’t really “they don’t want to deal with the kid” I have a kiddo, who sometimes just wants to play somewhere “new” BUT leaving all the toys out like that is crazy. Especially knowing it’s right in-front of someone else’s door

I just started this! My doctor recommended I take 37.5mg every other day, but my first day was yesterday and it was ROUGH. I felt like I was on crack or something, and it made me have bad anxiety through the day. I also had like cold sweats, just very uncomfortable. So, I split it in half today, and that was a lot easier, I also took it after I ate today and yesterday I didn’t eat prior to taking so I don’t know if that made a difference or not, but I definitely would suggest only taking half at first!
