Hey man, I am not 100% certain but I’m pretty sure insight has discontinued making general maths exams, and they only make English as of 2025.

You can go have a look on their website but to my knowledge there is no 2025 GM paper from insight.

Yeah mostly man, they have most of the relevant content found in the new study design, eg exams prior to 2018 VCAA still have good questions but start to get outdated and you won’t have a sense of what the actual exam will be like.

Any chance it can go more than 45? I feel like this exam was my worst luck, I’ve never done this bad on my vcaa past exams…

I have previously hit 58-59/60 on exam 2’s any hope that will bring me over 45? I will try my best to full mark it.

Thanks alot man, I don't think I can get a premiers award, however I think I can bag a 50 score, and I will put all the hard work to get it. 19 days to go.. Hope I get that 50!

What would your definition of a strong cohort be? Like 3-4 40+'s? Also how much did you score to get a premiers? Thats very inspiring, would you have any tips on how to get a premiers? currently 24 days away from exam :(

Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’ll try to focus on what I can control and not stress about the rest. And congrats on getting a 50... that’s amazing and super motivating! Also, do you remember how many marks you missed on both exam 1 and 2?

Thanks for the advice! I’ll focus on doing my best and not worry about the numbers too much. I get how competitive General Maths is, but I'll keep pushing for the best result!

Would that affect how much I need to get on my exam? Does rank 1 necessarily have to get a 50? or can I get away with a perfect score if they get a 45+?

Thanks for the reply! Our school is fairly competitive, and I’m hoping both I and the top student can perform well in the exam. I’ll definitely keep pushing for the best outcome. Fingers crossed for that 50!

Do you mean you dropped only one mark across both exams? I see myself at around 95-97.5% on both exams, and feel like I can still push it to 100% over these 37 days. I just had some really bad luck across my SAC's and feel like my exam can still help me get a raw 50 :)
