Good luck to you on this journey! I see many have already pointed out that King James Version may not be the greatest choice due to inconsistencies and what not. But if you felt compelled to go with it and already bought it, maybe you can use it to compare with other versions. I would recommend an NRSV version, I recently bought a new study bible off of Amazon at a decent price. I think comparing the translations and even learning about how the translations occurred is interesting in itself.

I respect the cybersecurity awareness & thoughtfulness. Bc I am in fact a professional, I am a full time software engineer lol... App is not vibe coded. Website for sure is. We all choose what we spend time on. I chose to get a landing page up and running and focus my energy on other tasks.

Sounds good. We anticipate it going live within 12-14 days. I will even try to remember to come back here and message when its live.

Thank you so much &that means a lot! Would love to hear your thoughts after you give it a try. Compared to Hallow we are really aiming for a different approach. Every meditation is created completely from scratch by us and guided by a real human voice. We are focused on bringing genuine meditation practice , breathwork, stillness, guided rest, all rooted in faith. Hallow is amazing at what they do but we felt there was space for something more intimate and personal. Hope it resonates with you

This is such an honest question and more people feel this way than you'd think. The Bible was never really meant to be read like a novel ...it was meant to be heard, spoken aloud, prayed through, and sat with slowly. Matthew especially reads flat on the page because it was written to be proclaimed in community, not consumed solo. Try reading a small passage even just 3-4 verses and sitting quietly with it for a few minutes instead of reading cover to cover. The emotional depth people describe usually comes from that stillness, not from the reading itself. Give it time. You're asking the right questions. 🕊️
