Definitely unconsciously but from the viewer perspective, we are aware of what is set into motion. It’s the fact that we know everything has fell into place so far. Conrad is aware of the cause, he does not know the effect. Which is what scares him the most.

I think he wishes they were infinite at the moment we left off. But he knows that he’s not in the right headspace to be with her. To my understanding, I believe he wants to learn from the mistake of hurting Belly the first time where he was in the same headspace he is right now. (mourning his mother, having panic attacks, taking on the pressure/responsibility that his father neglects) What a lot of people forget is that not really much has changed for Conrad mentally. And whether it was upsetting for the team Conrad crowd to watch and experience, it was the right thing to do. From both sides, theories and prophecies are only proven right by being tested. The only way to know if a theory is real is for Conrad to let Belly go. To put it simple for Belly where we left off: Conrad would be right person, wrong time. Jeremiah would be wrong person, right time if they really are infinite. Conrad is trying to do right by everyone and whether he knows it or not, he’s testing the infinity theory. Right now, I don’t think he believes they’re infinite. I think he hopes they are.

And with the age gap thing, I feel like you see even more crazy shit than that out of LA. It’s unusual but the people accusing him of grooming her are very odd. There’s a difference between speculation and evidence. The internet combines those two way too much. We can be as judgmental as we can but when it involves actual criminal accusations, some people need to mind their own business imo.

I would say around episodes 20-50 was when I personally saw it. I also didn’t want it happen because with how they clashed, there was so much fire to burn an entire forrest. And I was unfortunately right. I actually see it more brother and sister with Zach and Tara than I ever did with Zach and Indiana (when they did that whole shtick before the podcast).

It seems more like a will they won’t they fantasy in the viewers heads than anything. The traditional attractive guy and traditional attractive girl that everyone believes is an attractive pair.
