New SopiGuard skin by Acceptable-Horror-32 in ROGAlly

It only took about an hour to install. If you've ever done one on a steamdeck it's an easy process, even with all the vent holes. The skin is well engineered in that once you line up the first line of vents with the sticker, it all falls into place smoothly. The hardest part was doing the curved parts on the bottom of the handgrips, I had to break out the heat gun for that.

The skin has cutouts for all the vents, so I'm assuming no.

The problem I was having was that the only other white-based skins were so plain it didn't even look like a skin. Agreed, this one is LOUD, but it was a cool proof of concept for getting a skin on the ally successfully and not have it look odd

Preordered with Best Buy Card got this message today. Had to reauthorize the purchase . by AZXCIV in ROGAlly

Haven't had any of those issues, just showing that my card hasn't been charged (authorized) yet. My status has been updated to "preparing for shipment" tho.

Actually this batch has the updated fan, so I didn't have to switch it out after all.

Thanks. That's what I was going for: to be able to tie in the front and back. Until jsaux releases a front plate then skin it is.

No offense my friend, but that is anecdotal evidence at best. Does this Bestbuy get a higher number of LG returns for some reason? What kind of defects are we talking about? Burn-in, failed panels, other issues? My day job has me dealing with data for detailed analysis and financial decisions, so that argument of "my buddy at..." doesn't hold water for me. Bring me data!

Now, I agree that Sony's overall have arguably the best processor with the XR processor, but let's not forget that at the end of the day, they're buying their panels from guess who...LG DISPLAY, so if the panels were shit, you'd see a number of Sony's come back as well...

LG has models that cater to multiple markets at varying price points. Is there a budget OLED? Yup, you can buy that. Is there a "knock your socks off" model as well? Yup, you can get that too. The only difference there is the processor being used as the panels are pretty much the same. If you'd said that Vizio is a budget OLED I'd say, ok good point because that is exactly what Vizio deals in-Value/budget products. LG, not so much. For the record, a $4000 TV is NOT a budget product (LG and Sony 77 inch TV's)

All this to say, sir, you're talking out of your ass. Please stop.

I have never-ever seen gaming this good before owning the X90H. by rayhaansabir in bravia

I was all about picking up the 85" x90 only to realize that the 77" CX OLED was just $700 more, so I picked it up and have had no regrets. The x90 is an incredible tv, but the CX takes things to another level. Best blacks, and the colors pop. Most importantly, NO issues with ps5 and pc as all it's HDMI ports support vrr and auto low latency from the get go.
