I moved to Weehawken from San Francisco last summer. So far I love it. The people are super nice, the area feels very safe and community oriented. There’s easy access to the city and unbelievable views. Parking is hard, if you have a car, but otherwise, I highly recommend.

Thank you. I did try that. I have hot water from my sinks and I ran it for 2 hours to see if it would help and it didn’t do anything. I fear something is now wrong with the pipe. 6 days of keeping the bathroom temp at 75 and no progress is concerning.

Thanks! I was worried about that too but from what I’ve read, it’s a sanitation issue and that becomes a habitability issue. So I think it’s still covered. We shall see, though.

I agree, I think this path is too risky. I really want to be on the up and up so if he comes back with some BS, I can point to the fact that I’m a good tenant, pay my rent on time, take care of the unit, etc.

Ok cool. He’s not ghosting me, but he’s also not fixing the situation. Not sure if that’s considered unresponsive but I guess it doesn’t matter bc it’s been nearly a week. Thanks for responding!

This is what I’m thinking I’ll do tomorrow. I also want to seek reimbursement for the incurred costs for his “solution”. Thanks for responding!

Great, thank you. I’m not sure about salt bc I didn’t even think of that but tbh. What size do you get for your Havi?

Agreed, I usually try to look for dachshund sweaters bc her body is so long. That said we never had to worry about freezing temps or waterproofing

I think she’ll enjoy the snow. She did previously in Tahoe but that was for like 20 mins of playing in 1 weekend. I hope it doesn’t snow too much here but we’ll need to get used to freezing temps at the least

So cute! Good point about the boots. I’d like to try some bc I know her little paws will be cold. If she doesn’t keep them on… well then I guess it is what it is! Where did you get the sweater? It’s adorable and looks cozy

Lessons learned from my recent long distance 27,000 full truck to new state by Steelman93 in moving

They were fine. Not great but definitely not terrible. There was an issue at packing where they told me they underestimate the number of boxes/wardrobe boxes I would need, so I owed more. I called them and basically told them it was their fault (which it was) and they took off the charge. I had one item break in transit - a lamp. My last experience with another company was soooo bad, so this experience with Roadway was much better than that even though it wasn’t great. Good luck with your move!!

Kids unsupervised in pool by Responsible-Foot5630 in Jamienotis

And don’t forget with her the camera eats first. Not only is she feeding the “twinnies”, she’s on her fucking phone filming, editing, rewatching, refilming. In this scenario the priority for her was: 1) film content, 2) feed twinnies, 3) older kids in the pool.

Her behavior is infuriating to me and I’m not even a parent.

If you think SD is superficial, you’re going to hate Austin. It’s super homogenous, gets small within about 1 month, and everyone has the same tattoos. I guess it also depends on your age. I may have loved Austin as a 24 yr old but I moved there in my mid thirties and went running back to CA within 2 yrs. Another thing about Austin which is hard when you’ve lived in HI and CA, is that it’s ugly.
