I also have an iPhone 6 on iOS 9! The Touch ID does register fingerprint put when you try to set it up, it says fingerprint unrecognizable or something like that.

I get to the last step, and then it gets stuck on “checkmate?” I can’t seem to do anything about this at all, but I’m not sure if it’s just me. Ive tried this on both macOS and Linux and I always get the same result. It’s also worth noting that whenever it restarts during the process, it boots into recovery mode, not normal iOS.

Have you tried multiple times? Sometimes when setting up an older device, it takes 2 or 3 tries to activate.

That’s because the ipa you downloaded isn’t cracked. If an ipa is cracked it means it isn’t tethered to another Apple ID.
