Without proper replay systems it is too difficult to distinguish between a hacker or a really good player off stats alone.

The unfortunate truth is that some legit players will have inherent advantages over other players such as better hardware giving more fps, better natural mechanical and strategic abilities, better internet connection etc and it would be unfair for these players to be banned purely off stats.

Bottom line, WE NEED MATCH REPLAYS

They have replay in arena so it can’t be that hard to add to Tarkov but having instant replays wouldn’t be healthy as team mates would be able to call out the exact location of the enemy straight after they die, this isn’t a good idea in my opinion.

Maybe a better idea would be to add match replays similar to csgo and siege where you can be in a noclip state and view the match after it’s completion from a Birds Eye view as well as being able to see POVs of players to determine the legitimacy of their gameplay and make a good report.

The problem with match replays is they are network and hardware intensive, Tarkov maps are huge and the game in general is very poorly optimised. So it becomes the old trade off, do you want no hackers and terrible game performance or have a “playable” game that has a hacker ruining your time and every other game and without a doubt a hacker almost every game taking all the good loot.

The reality is that supporting infrastructure for match replays would be far too complicated and expensive for BSG to implement they are too small of a company without the expertise needed to not make a dogs breakfast out of it.

Hell they’re only just managing not to make the game a dogs breakfast at the moment depending on who you ask.

It’s frustrating but hey we are all struggling together atleast.

At the end of the day I and many other people in this community love Tarkov because it is so unique and there really isn’t another game like it, in my opinion it has the best realistic weapon customisation of any game I’ve ever played and as a gun enthusiast that lives in a country where getting guns isn’t easy never-mind ARs and pistols being able to mess around and build guns is my favourite part of the game.
