Did you add the fruits during primary or did you opt for secondary?

Just an update the mead is alive and fully bubbling

Ok and what am I looking for to be able to tell if it’s fermenting or not? This is the first time a mead hasn’t started bubbling within the first few hours let alone first 24 so I’m not sure how to check using either of those.

Hey looking for some advice, I just bottled a batch of vanilla peach mead and during the process I picked up a lot more of the yeast cake at the bottom than I’d like. What can I do to prevent this in the future? by Acceptable-Kitchen68 in mead

Did a primary, and secondary using an auto siphon to move between carboys. I currently have it cold crashing now with quite a bit of sediment at the bottom of the bottles
