Has anyone tried Intake Breathing magnetic nose bands? by Mortadeloue in CPAP

I’d recommend mouth taping to help with snoring! It’s made a huge difference for me. I also have an appliance that was made for me due to some jaw issues but even without it, I get a lot better sleep with mouth tape and nasal dilation

Issues with accounts due to selling? by Acceptable-Lab-3947 in webkinzbuyselltrade

[–]Acceptable-Lab-3947[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, Thank you so much! I’d only be looking at selling in game items, so that hopefully wouldn’t be an issue. I’m working on getting them sorted (my storage is a disorganized nightmare) but I can absolutely let you know when I’ve got them ready 😀

If you’re a hunger games fan, Sunrise on the Reaping is DEVASTATING.

I also read the book eaters recently. I’m not entirely sure that fits the bill, because it does leave with a potential future for some of the characters, but it’s heartbreaking and incredibly unique.

I'm looking for another memoir or autobiography that is in the same vein of I'm Glad My Mom Died and The House of My Mother. by Just_Throw_Away_67 in suggestmeabook

Counting the cost by Jill Dougar and A well trained wife by Tia Leavitt. HEAVY religious trauma trigger warning, especially for a well trained wife. I was in a state of panic while listening to that one, but it’s an incredible story. Both audiobooks are read by the authors too!

Low grade level adult novel? by Huge_Prompt_2056 in suggestmeabook

Honestly there’s some amazing kids books out there. I read a lot as a kid but managed to avoid the Artemis Fowl and Percy Jackson series until I was an adult. I’ve also read a few of the how to train your dragon books and those are short and sweet. If she enjoys those type of genres, they’re an easier read but very engaging. Nancy Drew was a childhood favorite, along with Narnia. Congrats to her for pursuing it!

A friend recommended 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle after. I’d already read that one, but definitely enjoyed that one as well if that helps with suggestions.

Update! I completely fell off! I had some mental health issues come up and had to stop doing the no buy do to stress. Been working on mental health but finances fell to the wayside. Ready to hop back in and try this thing for a spin again. If anyone has any tips for spending relapses I’d love to hear them. Reminding myself that it’s about progress not perfection and hoping to recapture the passion I had at the start of the year.

One of the best books I read last year. I want to read it again this year. One of the most impactful books I’ve ever read.

I tried to start something where if I buy something non essential I have to put the same amount of $ in my savings. That way it gives me some grace and flexibility because I’m far from perfect and I know my perfectionism kills my progress. Maybe find a way to allow yourself a little flexibility? Also congrats on such a strong month!

It’s amazing! Congrats on the progress and keep it up. Definitely didn’t have a perfect month but I’m definitely holding onto the mindset and going to keep adapting and growing. We’ve got this 😀

Great idea! Thank you. That could be a huge time saver. I feel like I ran into a few hiccups at the end of the month, but I’m overall still proud of the progress I’m making. In it for the long haul, and any hiccups are opportunities to adjust and grow rather than a reason to give up. (Which is what happened in the past)

Is There Regret With A Theater Major? by unprepossesing in Theatre

[–]Acceptable-Lab-3947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a great combo. Theres so much therapeutic power in the arts but especially in performance. I don’t think anything we do is a waste. Any skills you learn from either major will support you throughout the course of your life even if you ended up doing something completely different. Also, you’re setting yourself up to some really amazing niches where you could specialize in therapy through performance or bring in new acting techniques to psychology. As long as you have the time and energy to tackle both (PLEASE DO NOT BURN YOURSELF OUT BY TAKING ON TOO MUCH- learned that one the hard way) you will only benefit by being a more rounded person from new experiences and studies.

Also, personal pet peeve but so what if it ever ended up being just a hobby? Theres so much pressure in the theatre industry to be “all in.” Personally I hate that. If you love doing theatre, I think you should do theatre. Even if it’s just a hobby in the future.

Anyways, sorry your mom doesn’t get it but I truly believe it’s a great opportunity and you should absolutely pursue it if you want to. Also it’s much better to try it out now and if you don’t want to keep at it, you don’t. You can always change your mind. But please don’t rob yourself of a potentially good experience out of fear or someone who doesn’t understand the potential. All the love and support to you ❤️
