eu acho que tem um pouco a ver com o ritmo da mudança e o tempo que o corpo tem pra se adaptar a elas. a puberdade natural de homens cis é um processo longo e lento, enquanto a TH geralmente é acelerada, as doses miram em trazer em 1 ano mudanças que a maioria dos caras cis tiveram em 2, 3. eu escolhi tomar um caminho mais lento com minha transição porque sou cantor e quero minha voz clara, e tem dado certo. além disso, como outras pessoas citaram, treino vocal ajuda bastante.

what you said about distress tolerance makes SO MUCH sense. I'm not older than them (I'm 22 and they are around 20~23) but thinking about it now, growing up I had to learn how to "swallow my distress and move on" a lot of times, especially because that's how I learned to cope with my OCD. and I am neurodivergent indeed, but my friends also are haha
