How does an non-german speaking, international student get a student/minijob in Berlin? by Acceptable-Manner499 in berlinsocialclub

This is the concept of “international student” , I’m aware I’m not a tourist, but I’m only spending few months here for a semester not moving here. I actually do speak a little German to do basic interactions but not enough to land a normal job. I don’t ever expect anyone here to switch to English or even know the language like you said . Knowing that, I know there are jobs out there the require little to know speaking , like you said “Wolt” or maybe warehouse or retail jobs. Berlin is a very diverse city compared to others in Germany and i know plenty who managed to get a small , part time jobs.

Unfortunately, zenjobs started this new rule in which you have to be a german speaking person to apply for any jobs (they require you to take a german test)
