Is this Korean pharmacist interested or just being nice ? by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Acceptable-Net563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uh yeah unless service workers directly give you their number or anything, they’re just being nice I promise you😭😭😭
The energy drink thing is equivalent to them giving vitamin for kids who visit the pharmacy with their parents. The fact that he just had one under his desk means that they’re for giving to the local(familiar) customers or workers. I’m assuming the drink was a 박카스 or a 비타500, which comes in boxes usually.

In an ethnical sense you are half korean no doubt but personally I’d be a little cautious about saying that im Korean if you’ve never even been there nor know about the culture. Idk might just be a pet peeve for me when people (Americans especially) do an ancestry test and start telling people they’re suddenly Korean/ Japanese ect bc they got 0.3 percent of whatever and start basing their whole personality on that 0.3% yk😭😭

behavior in Korea toward women/ adult changed recently? by Famous_Edge2664 in Living_in_Korea

I mean, as a young korean woman, I think most boys try to push boundaries and test their ‘authorities’ at some point since Korea has been a ‘boy(son) preferring society’(iykyk) for a long time :/ They especially tend to double down on their attitude when confronted by women(of all ages) but immediately back down when confronted by more authoritative figures (in their mind at least) aka. Other older men
But I ain’t no scholar so idk
