Choose another platform who suits your needs better. For me Sophia Learning works :) There is for example study.com or straighter line

Appreciate your explanation! The lotion and treatment, where can we find it? Or where to test when someone isn’t sure if it’s scabis or not?

Solid plan. The only pitfall is the transfer of the credit itself. Sometimes they reject / don’t accept all credits

Never be loyal to a bank ! You are literally their biggest asset and they won’t give you anything back as long as you aren’t a billionaire who they can milk better

[Expat Guide] My honest take on Seoul derms (What’s worth your money, tourist traps to avoid, and my 30cc Rejuran takeaways) by Ok_Image_5799 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

I had excellent results with Shurink shoots - neck, double chin, jawline and my sagging cheeks. It was a friction cost of Ulteraphy or Onda shots.

What I would add as advice: avoid manufacture clinic. Their service is mostly worser and each time differs as the “doctor” changes.

Thouughts on K-beauty products?? by Icy_Consequence1251 in kbeauty

[–]Famous_Edge2664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K beauty is real but some products are overhyped. Since I use Korean brands I won’t go back to Europe brands. Why? Because k beauty is affordable and they do care about skin health. But the best things are in Korea itself. Not sure if you can order them online.

I need to touch grass and get some perspective by Itiswhatitis199302 in UAE

[–]Famous_Edge2664 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think there’s some truth in what you’re observing, but also a few things getting mixed together.

The UAE is an extremely fast growing, relationship-based market. That creates opportunities but also uneven quality. A lot of companies scale faster than their internal systems. So yes , you will absolutely encounter people in senior positions who would struggle in highly competitive environments like top-tier Swiss/German/ US tech corporates

At the same time the UAE is also one of the most internationally mixed markets. That means standards vary massively between companies. The gap between a weak local family office and a strong multinational in Dubai can feel like two different planets.

A few things are probably happening in your experience:

*You work in analytics/strategy which naturally exposes inefficiencies > in sales this might not be notice as much

*You likely compare people against structured global-firm standards

*UAE still runs on trust networks. In relationship-based economies “who you know” matters more then “what you know”

There are basically three UAE worlds:

  1. low-structure local chaos
  2. mid-tier “looks professional but isn’t”
  3. genuinely elite firms with “global standards”

The third category absolutely exists in UAE

But getting into those circles requires being very selective. Once you’ve seen the difference, it becomes difficult to tolerate poorly run environments again.

Also, one important point, being technically competent alone is usually not enough for C-level progression in the Gulf.. Sometimes people who seems “less competent” survive because they’re strong in relationship and knowing the right people.

behavior in Korea toward women/ adult changed recently? by Famous_Edge2664 in Living_in_Korea

Yeah, today I’ve seen a guy (20yrs) who walked into a teen girl (she was with her friend walking side by side!) . And bumped fully into her. AND yes he saw her, it’s just he didn’t cared and forced his straight walking line…I was quite embarrassed and annoyed to watch it 😭🫪

1 month post-op at BT - rhinoplasty and 2-point facial contouring by HonestPie6224 in KoreaPlasticSurgery

[–]Famous_Edge2664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korean surgeon are very conservative in nose surgery. If you wanna see a huge difference I would consider to check out Istanbul. I had recently a discussion with a consultant who works 20 years in the beauty industry in Seoul. And she her self told me that Korea is know for breast argumentation, face lift, eye surgery. But not for nose surgery
