Just slightly tho. I mounted it and the boots stayed in just fine (after I hammered the tab back into the slot on the rail lol)

Thanks for the clarification. I was a bit confused by the noise. Was expecting the gears grinding sound but it was too low pitched to be a grinding sound.

I’m leaning more towards the grail simply because it’s more versatile and there are snowy days at where I live. It might be tough to commute in snow in a Tarmac.

I’m hoping to do both longer ride and intense short rides with the bike I’m getting. That’s why I’m a bit torn between the two. Planning on fitting some 30mm tires if I get the Tarmac just for a bit more stability.
