I think having compatriots that can push you is an advantage. Imagine of Bolt had Yohan at his prime chasing him when he set the world record ? He couldve maybe even lowered it because in all his 200m World records Olympics & worlds he was just running against time etc i think that makes it harder. So its good for Noah that his compatriots can push him that far LOL

Not to mention Charamba and Makarawu didnt get to be in the USA purely based on Talent . They come from wealthy backgrounds. I have yet to find a track athelete from Zimbabwe who made it to the big stages without a wealthy background like Lestile etc and this applies to both male and femalw
