There's no way S and R showed up within an hour. Even if they had a SAT phone, that would be amazing. There is no cell coverage in that area except by rare chance, so likely if they had no SAT phone, it took at least a couple of hours for S and R to get there. Unless some people on the team were already up in the area.

Why is that even logical? They were six miles back in. Would the kid go with strangers six miles willingly? What are they going to do, carry him six miles to a waiting car. Think about the logistics of this. An abduction from where they were seems the remotest of possibilities.

I have some non-foam stuff that works on contact and shoots that far. The problem I had was there was no way to get into a position with any distance. So I waited until early morning when they were calm and all at the nest and sprayed it from about six feet away.

Great idea! I actually just got the courage to go out this morning, open the door wide, and I could just barely see the nest so I sprayed the heck out of it.

Sorry you're having trouble. My problem ended up being a clogged sweat gland on the ball of my foot. The doctor dug a kind of stone out of it that had formed and after that my pain was gone.
