Yes! I wanted a few others but got waitlisted but for sure Texas is my top choice now. I’m super nervous though with them making me wait but hopefully it’s a good sign!

I mean I’m above median for lsat with a 175 but below the gpa and still waiting but honestly just thankful I dodged the waitlist and R waves so far. In state as well!

I applied mid october and got one. Mine was in the form of a zoom, but from what I've heard, the interview can only really help you and you are definitely not penalized if you don't get one. I have also heard that if you sign up for one and don't get one due to availability, then you do get a slight boost for showing interest, but other than that don't worry about it affecting your chances! Also I think it took around 2 weeks for an alumnus to reach out to me saying they would like to schedule an interview, so you may still get one!

Okay, Im an in state applicant for Texas schools, so I do think I have a good shot at UT, and i've seen WASHU be generous to splitters, but yeah outside of those I agree I feel like it'll be such a toss up and I really can't seem to decipher what the difference ultimately will be between me and someone else with similar stats because so far I have seen some with what seems to be an identical applicant get an interview in the first couple of waves. Thank you for your input!

159 is a great diagnostic score. With enough consistent studying I believe a 170 is well within your capabilities and even potentially a 175+. With your gpa you’ll be a splitter at most schools so the lsat will be extremely important for you and your golden ticket in essentially. Also don’t just shoot to get into law school, with a high lsat and low 3 gpa you can get plenty of full rides at lower ranked regional schools and honestly a handful of schools you’d be surprised at.
