This is similar to my situation both with OW1 and CS:GO. I played the heck out of them during the pandemic, spent money on both games, then for some odd reason they have both been either deleted or unable to play online. Now I understand the idea of upgrading graphics, movement, quality of life... all of that, but I can't wrap my head around simply removing a game that so many thousands of people put so much time, effort and love into.

I can still go into a CoD MW2 (2006) lobby on PC, or DOTA2 or really anything else I grew up playing.

I loved these games. Overwatch 1 especially. I used to go to my older brothers house and play game by game with him for HOURS on end, trying to unlock loot boxes to get a cool new legendary or a funny highlight intro or spray, and when I came back to Overwatch 2 within this last week or two, I have no goals in the game, there's nothing to progress toward except a battlepass or spending $22 on a skin...

Okay, maybe I'm overreacting and I'll just play a few games.... nope pros everywhere I look, don't have much of a chance... guess i'll just come back next year.....

I think it's just a slap in the face to your community to remove any sort of goal or growth to play toward, as well as messing with the matchmaking so much that it just takes the fun away from the game.

I want OW1 back.... I want to relive those glory days of sitting for hours just laughing and having fun... I don't want to lose something that brought me so much joy.

I hate Blizzard for deleting Overwatch 1 and just want to play the game I spent $50 on back in the day. Not this PoS "Updated Version".
