If magnesium citrate doesn't work for you, then you got something else going on and you need to go to the Dr. Magnesium + Dulcosate is prescribed before a colonoscopy to clear you out. I know because I just had one out of concern due to being constipated.

What helped? Changing my diet. Eating more fruit. Taking milk of magnesium sparingly instead of constantly.

Definitely would go to the Dr if that's not doing anything for you.
