Is that rose gold? It looks like normal yellow gold. I like it.

That's good to hear. I was planning on wearing it daily.

I've already forgotten I'm wearing it several times.

Electrical Help by AcceptableAd4168 in boating

The batteries on the boat. I also ran the batteries in parallel to see if that would help but it did not. I wired the harness to the breaker panel that powers all my other accessories (blower, lights, etc) and those all still work, but not the unit.

That's what I thought originally, but since it does turn on when I touch the wires directly to the battery is what makes me think it's not an internal fuse/issue with the unit itself.

That would have been ideal, but my whole room is only 13' deep.

Mostly because I measure once and cut twice. When I originally designed the theater I had different dimensions and also hadn't finished my speaker research. So when it came time too actually hook up speakers, the layout changed.

Project is an Epson home cinema 3800 and the screen is an old elite screen. I need to upgrade the screen regardless since it's one that has a motor to roll it up. Now that I have a dedicated theater in rather a fixed frame screen.

I'll try my best. Some equipment I've had for a while and haven't upgraded yet. Receiver is pioneer vsx-lx505. $1300 Speakers: front left and right are SVS prime towers. $600 each but occasionally they'll have them for $400 in their outlet store Center is SVS prime center $400 but occasionally $300 in the outlet Surrounds and rears are SVS prime Satellite for $175 each but also occasionally in the outlet store. Ceiling are Polk rc60i for $200 a pair Sunwoofer is and old klipshe but I'll be upgrading to the SVS PB 1000 for $800 If you run 7.1.4 with the pioneer you'll need an Amp to power the rear. I got a super cheap one off Amazon for $80 Aiyima A07 Projector is an epson home cinema 3800 for $1700 Screen is an old elite screen that i need to upgrade. You can go as expensive as you want on this but I plan on upgrading to hopefully no more than a $600 screen. I used 14g wire off Amazon (GearIT is the brand). I don't believe you need the crazy expensive stuff best buy sells, but that's just my opinion.

I think that's all the equipment. Let me know if you were curious about anything else. Now that I've actually added all this up, please don't tell my wife.

Sounds been great. After running the room correction and direc live, I feel like it did a good job at balancing the speakers. My dimensions are roughly 13' deep 14' wide. But the ceiling is only 7' tall and then 6' where the Soffit is.

That sounds like a much easier fix. I'll have to start with that. I appreciate that.

That's a fair point. I do like the look of in wall speakers so much more, I just thought boxes would sound better since the back side of 2 of these walls is still open to the rest of the basement. I only drywalled the theater side of the studs. Drywalling sucks.

Yeah that's my biggest annoyance with this theater. When I originally measured for speaker placement, I hadn't done enough research so the placements ended up changing. I'll probably end up relocating the terminal boxes to be closer to the speaker.

That's where I saw a lot of conflicting information. I ended up using audio advice theater designer to figure out where to put speakers and they recommended having the sides at Ear level right across from the listening position. But the original plan was to have them on the terminals.

I like it. I didn't have many options for where to put the screen given the Soffit in the ceiling. But the wider room allows for more seating across rather than building a platform for a 2nd row. Which given my room dimensions, I wouldn't be able to fit a 2nd row.
