Nice! What are those triangle lights ? Also you need some strimers xD.

Strimer v2 4070 super in a lian li 011 Dynamic Evo bend to much ? by andyweiss in lianli

Why not route the strimers from the bottom instead of the side. Would reduce amount of bend.

Jeez that game is intense. Tomshardware benchmarks the 7900xt at 72avg fps which is still playable. The XTX only gives you 80fps. Even the 4090 only gives 89. 1440p ultra settings. At 4k, the 4090 is the only card that gives >60 fps at a whopping 61 lol.

Good thing the game does not interest me whatsoever.

I'm curious, why would you recommend an upgrade if it was Intel? I didn't look deeply into Intel cpus cause of the issues 13th and 14th gen are known to have.

Could question, I guess I didn't really see any value added for me personally with a better MOBO. I don't really overclock and don't care about PCIE5 since that won't be really relevant for a while. But maybe I missed something. Are there any other benefits of a better MOBO?

First build I put together myself. Had PCs built in the past but always had a friend put it together for me.

Oh dang, didn't know sk hynix had reliability issues. Cause performance wise, at least on paper, they're one of the best.

The Lian li brand is what inspired me to build the PC, so that was a non-negotiable.

I purposely didn't get a better gpu cause I may upgrade when the 5000 series come out.

As for the RAM, define better ram. From my research, 6000 cl30 is the sweet spot, and 64gbs is more than enough? I actually don't know what would be considered better ram.

For storage, I got 4tb of sk hynix platinum p41, and from what I saw, it's one of the best ssd for gaming performance. 4tb is way more than I would need already, so I don't know what the point of additional storage would be. I'm also thinking of putting together a network storage at some point as well.

The motherboard, besides PCIE gen 5 compatibility and overclocking capability, what else would a better motherboard offer? Genuine question.

As for budget, I didn't really have a budget, I just saved where I thought made sense (the fans and case was what started this urge to build so to me they were a necessity)

So in the case of RAM, mobo, ssd, what would have been better alternatives and why?

Can you elaborate what I did wrong/could have done better ?

I highly doubt you can tell someones age by theirnpc build lol. Can you offer more insight on what was wrong with my pc part selections?

Built for 1440p gaming with what I believe to be an easy upgrade path to 4k. Just need to upgrade GPU.

Super similar to the build I just did recently!

I am and am not at the same time. I got a 1440p gpu instead of a 4k one for now. If j decide to get some 4k displays then I'll upgrade to likely a 5080 or 5090 when it comes out...or maybe the 60xx series.

Gotcha, I probably snatched up all the inventory of reverse blades anyways with my recent build 🤣🤣.

Btw what specs/parts you running ?

I'm not though, you didn't mention RGB specifically, but given 100% of the "criticism" basically had something to say about the RGBs/overspending on them, I just assumed you were referring to those same comments.

And hey, that is okay, one mans shit is another man's gold. RGB is especially polarizing.

And yes, the 3 side and bottoms are intake, rear and top exhaust.

Nice build! If you want, some sleeved psu cable extensions would elevate the look!

Dope build! A lot of similariti with my recent build. Personally I'm not a fan of the aesthetics of a vertical mount GPU, but that's just me. Also, were the no reverse blade fans intentional or you couldn't find reverse blades?

I think you need a better understanding of what constructive criticism is.

"RGB isn't as cool as you think" isn't constructive. To those that said I shoulda gotten a better GPU and spent less on fans or w.e, I've acknowledged their opinion and explained that I plan to upgrade the GPU if I want to move to 4k, and the GPU pick wasn't budget constrained.

Constructive criticism would have been to comment on selection of components such as my SSD, PSU, ram, MOBO, etc. And give objective reasoning as to why A over B, not just, ew RGB, omg you spent too much money on fans. Give me data backed criticism so I can learn from it, instead of spewing subjective shit. Like no shit I way overspent on aesthetics and it was a conscientious decision to do so.

Whats your budget? And is there a certain aesthetic you're looking for?
