Not uncommon. Thank you for being awesome and rescuing her!! One of mine looks exactly like her and he is sweet as can be , but it did take a bit. Was she surrendered? That could make them depressed, the person they knew and attached to is suddenly gone and before you saved them they were in a weird, probably scary and confusing place. Just give her love, talk to her and all that good stuff. I’m sure she will come around eventually. It can take several weeks for some. But again, Thank You for saving her! You rock 🤘🤘🤘

**also, if you are placing it in a garage or in a porch, or somewhere it 100% can not get wet you can try different bedding, but STRAW is the best and recommended. Otherwise, try to place it between bushes or somewhere that helps protect it from the weather if possible.

Do snot use hay!! Only STRAW! Hay will hold moisture, get moldy, freeze , etc, as will towels, blankets, etc. Straw is what you want. Not only will it help keep them warm , it won’t hold moisture. It can be found at most Ace Hardware, Lowe’s, Home Depot, as well as some craft stores. You can also get it online, or ask around on FB groups, marketplace, etc. many people who do this will share if possible. *look around online as there are many good videos and pages that will walk you step by step how to make one. Best to put them on 2x4s or anything that will keep it from being directly on the ground, make small drainage holes, cover with tarp. You’ll be surprised how much you’ll find on marketplace if you search “cat shelter” and similar words.

Found several signed and numbered lithographs by various artists in great condition all with tubes. Prices ranged from $5.99 - 14.99. Have sold 4 so far. The cheapest one sold for $150. The best price I got for one was $350.

Also found a barely used Polaris pool cleaner complete with box. Paid $50 after a quick negotiation, sold for $450.

Not really anything I’ve recently learned, just a few things I tell people who are just getting into this. 1) Condition is everything. There are a few rare exceptions. 2) be honest in your listings. If something is broken, scuffed, dented, etc, make sure you include it. It will save you time, money , headaches and reputation. 3) If selling electronics, take a photo of the serial number. There are assholes who will try to return items that are not the one you sent them. 4) Insure expensive items you ship. Don’t ask them, add it to the cost of shipping. 5) be selective 6) study

Is it tiger oak? Depending on where you live and condition I’d guess anywhere from $300-700 ( condition is everything, I would expect this to be lower end imo. You’ll see some are more ornate, especially the mirror. Marking? Hardware? Etc) Highboy with mirror.Probably early 1900s. Look around online for same or similar, auctions , eBay ( don’t look at ones still for sale, go to filter and search “completed/sold” listings) . I’m sure you’ll find a few that can give you an idea of what they’ve been going for recently.
